What data we collect
- Contact form: your name, phone number, email address and your message.
- Phone, email and WhatsApp: your phone number or email address and what you tell us.
- When you buy or sell through us: the details needed to prepare the viewing or the transaction, such as your contact details and your wishes regarding the property.
- Technical data: our web server records standard log data (IP address, date and time, the page requested and the browser type) to keep the website secure and working.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not load scripts from advertising networks.
Why we use your data
- To answer your question and to arrange a viewing or a consultation, at your request.
- To carry out our services when you buy or sell a property through us.
- To keep the website secure and to prevent misuse of the contact form.
- To meet legal obligations that apply to us.
Who receives your data
We do not sell your data. We share it only when that is needed:
- Our hosting provider, which runs the website and our email.
- Parties involved in a transaction, such as the notary, the seller or buyer, or the developer of a new project. We do this only when you ask us to arrange a viewing or a transaction.
- WhatsApp, if you choose to contact us that way. WhatsApp's own privacy policy then applies.
Data outside the European Union
Our work concerns property in Morocco. If you ask us to arrange a viewing or a transaction, we share the necessary details with parties in Morocco, such as the notary or the seller.
How long we keep your data
We keep an enquiry no longer than needed to handle your request. If you become a client, we keep your file for as long as our service lasts and for as long as the law requires.
Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Messages from the contact form go straight to our mailbox and are not stored in a website database.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to restrict its use, or to transfer it to you. You can also object to its use, and withdraw any consent you gave. Send your request to info@elkhadestate.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country. In the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
